THERAPY FOR ADHD & NEURODIVERGENCE IN SAN FRANCISCO & ONLINE ACROSS CA
You are not broken—you are brilliantly wired.
If you’ve always felt like your mind works differently—like you’re constantly juggling a million thoughts, struggling to stay organized, or masking your true self just to fit in—you’re not alone.
If you’ve always felt like you’re operating in a world that wasn’t built for the way your mind works, you’re not alone. Living with ADHD or as a neurodivergent individual can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re constantly battling distractions, feeling misunderstood, or being labeled as "too much" or "not enough." Whether it's struggling to stay focused, jumping between ideas, or feeling the weight of perfectionism and procrastination, the challenges can feel like a never-ending cycle.
Maybe you’ve spent years masking your true self—trying to fit into systems that don’t make room for your brilliance. You might feel frustrated, exhausted, or even disconnected from your identity. The constant effort to "get it right" while feeling different from those around you can take a toll on your confidence and mental health. You are not broken. You are uniquely wired, and those differences hold untapped potential waiting to be unlocked.
Together, we’ll build a path that feels right for you.
In therapy, we’ll work together to understand your unique brain and create tools that align with your strengths and challenges. Using a compassionate, tailored approach, I’ll help you build systems that work for you, process emotions tied to past experiences, and embrace your neurodivergent magic. Therapy isn’t about changing who you are—it’s about helping you thrive as your authentic self.
Let’s reframe “success” to reflect your true values, & discover how to set more adaptable expectations.
Having been diagnosed with ADHD later in life, I can relate to the feeling of suddenly seeing things clearly for the first time—like putting on a pair of glasses and finally understanding why certain challenges have been present all along. In our sessions, I’ll bring this lived experience into our work together, creating a collaborative space where you feel truly understood. I’ll help you explore strategies that are practical, realistic, and tailored to your needs, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we’ll work to embrace your ADHD traits, manage overwhelm, and build a life that supports your unique way of thinking and experiencing the world.
HOW WE’LL WORK TOGETHER
Here, You Are Allowed to Embrace Your Unique Mind, Celebrate Your Strengths, and Let Go of the Pressure to Fit In.
In our sessions, we’ll often explore the difference between the expectations you have for yourself and the desires you hold for your life. Together, we’ll dig into where those expectations come from, who influenced them, and whether they truly serve you or are simply a product of external pressure. In our sessions, we’ll use practical skills like body doubling and organizing spaces to help you feel more grounded and less overwhelmed. Body doubling involves having me physically present while you work on tasks such as cooking, organizing, or even folding laundry, which can make those activities feel more manageable and less daunting. We can also explore how to organize your living or workspaces to suit your unique needs, creating environments that foster focus and calm. Integrating these hands-on approaches makes daily tasks easier and creates lasting systems that work for your ADHD or neurodivergent brain.
In addition to practical approaches, I incorporate EMDR, the expressive arts, and body-oriented therapies. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps you process and heal from past trauma, allowing your brain to rewire and release stuck emotions. This approach can be especially transformative for ADHD and neurodivergent clients, as it helps integrate difficult experiences while supporting emotional regulation and focus. I create a safe space where you can explore and heal at your own pace, with no pressure to fit into a mold.
The expressive arts and body-oriented therapies to help you connect with your inner wisdom. Through creative expression, such as drawing, journaling, or movement, you can process emotions in ways that words sometimes can't capture. Body-based practices, like somatic experiencing, allow you to reconnect with your body and release tension or stress from past experiences. By combining these modalities, I provide a holistic approach that nurtures both your mind and body, empowering you to understand and embrace your unique neurodivergent strengths.
